Hei again.
First of all I have to state that it has been very hard week!
On Monday was the New Years Eve and we worked for half day and the two days after that were off. Now on Thursday we work a _whole_ day and tomorrow starts the weekend. After that, three working days and four days long weekend because of the holiest day of Jewish year Jom Kippur. After that there are some odd days off also but not this big scale. Maybe it was bad time for me to come here…? :D
And then the worst part of all. Next week it should be on one day +36 and the second 37 degrees! :( I’m gonna melt..but be nicely tanned while doing so!
Things are starting to go a bit better with the food. Near the office here where we work is a local market which is about 30% cheaper then the one in the marina so I can eat almost as much as back home. Almost al of the texts in the products are Hebrew so I don’t always know what I’m buying but so far no food hazards has occurred. Beer is actually little cheaper then in Finland so I have to enjoy it while I can! In the market 0,5l of Carlsberg is a bit over 1€!! But still I wouldn’t mind to have some Finnish sausages :D But I don’t think that there is much difference if you get your vitamins and energy from the beer or from the meat.. And the food in the restaurant on the first floor is very good. Although, there is some herb that is not that good. It tastes funny and makes your mouth hot. I haven’t identified that one yet but I’m working on it.
I’m getting used to the traffic here. Mostly I’ve been driving to work and back. I’ve been Sam’s chauffeur :) or maybe I have found the räikkönen inside..
